Mark Newman is our guest instructor at the level-2 Anatomy Workshop

      World famous sculptor & artist, Mark Newman, will be our guest instructor for the Level-2 Human Anatomy Workshops, being held between Sat June 16th to Wed 20th. Mark will be an assistant instructor to Andrew Cawrse for this workshop. Talk about having two amazing teachers to help artists bring anatomical knowledge and form to their work. Andrew Cawrse & Jordu Schell - The new Female Figure, v3A Medical model

   Andrew Cawrse has finished the new AMAZING medical version, of his anatomy female figure. Sculpting extra anatomical features & the vascular system, Andrew also developed photo-real materials for the skin & flayed muscle. Joined by his friend & VFX legend, Jordu Schell, (who Andrew met in 2005 while working on the pre-production of James Cameron’s epic film AVATAR), Jordu helped Andrew prototype the look of the incredible “life-like” skin texture. Sculptor Richard MacDonald & Andrew Cawrse visit new Shanghai University


  World Famous figurative sculptor, Richard MacDonald, was invited to the new Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts (SIVA) to receive an Honorary Professorship and address 100+ students, who are enrolled into a new dedicated traditional sculpting program. It is a 4 year program, merging classical & modern,  Eastern & Western Art.
  Richard invited AnatomyTools.com president & colleague, fellow sculptor, Andrew Cawrse (Richard’s past student & now collaborative teacher) to join him to work one-on-one with the students. See photos below from the event. Richard also by invitation, also plans to install a monument at the university, & with Andrew, help develop the students curriculum in support of the regaining interest & rebirth of figurative art in the world.
